Lincoln Castle

Our beautifully historic Castle has just undergone a  £22 million restoration, and was ready in time to celebrate the 800th Magna Carta Anniversary in 2015.


Open Spaces

Lincoln has some marvellous oases of peace and tranquility to get away from the hustle and bustle.

The Arboretum

Dating from 1870 and containing gardens, lakes, fountains and a children’s play area, it underwent £3 million of restoration in 2003. It is situated in Lincoln’s Cultural Quarter and enjoyed by all as a place to go and picnic, read a book, meet friends and just take time out of our busy lives.


Hartsholme Country Park

Dating from 1860 it comprises
